Susan Morse, Program and Research Director

Sue develops and directs all aspects of Keeping Track's program and research efforts. She is the lead trainer of Keeping Track volunteers, develops monitoring protocols and training curricula, and serves as Keeping Track's primary scientific authority.

Susan Morse has been tracking and interpreting wildlife uses of habitat for thirty five years. In 1994 she founded Keeping Track where she is now the program and reseach director. She is also known for her suberb wildlife photography.

Bobbie Summers

Bobbie Summers serves as Keeping Track's Office Manager. Her efficient, warm and gracious demeanor has won the affectionate appreciation of clients near and far. Bobbie relishes every opportunity she can get to participate in Keeping Track's field trips; here, she is spiritually rewarded for her many hours behind the computer.

Bobbie has a life-long interest in birds and has studied bird ecology in depth. More recently, she brings to the field her huge new love for "herps" (reptiles and amphibians). She participates in Vermont statewide herp surveys and spring roadside amphibian monitoring outings.

Bobbie's love of animals doesn't stop there, however. Sue is in constant awe of her tireless devotion to rescuing homeless dogs from cruel and sordid circumstances.

Kit Emery

Kit Emery embodies what Keeping Track is looking for on our various KTMP teams! She is both knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife and wild habitats, and is tireless in her efforts to be outdoors where she can learn more. Her personal interests daily enrich what we do both in the field and in the office. She is a fine birder, a budding herpetologist and is also fascinated by the biology and ecology of wide-ranging carnivores, especially bobcat and lynx. She and Bobbie can be counted upon to provide top-notch assistance with field programs and evening lectures.

Kit’s versatile skills are invaluable during our Wildlife Events. Kit completed the KTMP training under the auspices of the Mascoma Watershed Conservation. She is certified in Backcountry Wilderness/Rescue and CPR by SOLO. Kit has volunteered with Mascoma Audubon and is an avid hiker and kayaker.
