Field Trips

"Half of tracking is knowing where to look, the other half is looking."

You can do the field trip at your location or a Wolfrun in Jericho, Vermont and also combine it with a slide show. We ask host organizations to lead the hike if it is in your area and Sue will show participants tracks and sign of wildlife including the ability to focus on certain features of the landscape in searching for evidence of wildlife. Field trips are limited to 20 participants and run 4-7 hours in length.

In addition, Sue leads special field workshops for conservation professionals on topics such as specific detection methods for certain species (the felids - Canada lynx, bobcat, and cougar - are her specialty).

No walk in the woods will ever be the same after a walk with Sue.
